Martinsville - Danville's Timothy Peters was one of several drivers testing Thursday at Martinsville for next week's STP 500 weekend. With the truck series idle since Daytona, Peters has enjoyed being the points leader after a strong second at Daytona to Cup regular Kyle Busch. Now it's back to work at a track where he's won in the truck series and twice in the Fall late model stock feature.
Timothy Peters, SECOND IN DAYTONA SEASON OPENER, said "Got a new crew chief with my buddy Marcus Richmond who's been with me throughout my whole racing career practically. So we're back together, just working more on our communication, want to get better. We've always had success here together but we want to get that win and concentrate more on the championship."
