Three Men Charged With Setting Red Oak Store on Fire

Red Oak, VA - The Charlotte County Sheriff's Office says a Red Oak store burned to the ground last month because three men set it on fire on purpose.

Aaron Newcomb, Samuel Woodson and Michael Clough, all from Chase City, are charged with breaking and entering and two counts of arson.

The fire destroyed the Stewart Adams Store and an outhouse on September 16. A few days later, a vehicle on the property also caught fire.

State police filed charges last week after determining the fires were intentionally set.
