Three JF Football Players Headed for College Ball

Bedford County - Jefferson Forest High School Wednesday honored three of its football players who will continue their playing careers at the collegiate level.

Receiver Dominique Royal signed his letter of intent today with UVa-Wise. Fellow receiver and teammate Cody Loveday will play for the Bridgewater Eagles, while linebacker Garrett Neal is headed to Emory & Henry.

Dominique Royal, WHO SIGNS WITH UVa-WISE, said "Very tough. I've got to work hard, get in the weight room, get my hands better. It's gonna be really tough."
Cody Loveday, WHO WILL PLAY FOR BRIDGEWATER, said "I feel like I have the tangibles to start playing but I feel like I'm not big enough yet. So once I get some size on, I think I'll be alright."
Garrett Neal, WHO'S HEADED TO EMORY & HENRY, said "I love the area down there, some say it's in the middle of nowhere but it doesn't bother me at all. And the coaches you know really went out of their way to try and get me down there and get me a good financial package. And it really helped out a lot."
