Three Hokies, One Cav Make Preseason All-ACC Team

Greensboro - Three Hokies and one Cavalier have been named to the preseason All-ACC team announced Wednesday.Representing Virginia Tech are Luther Maddy and Kendall Fuller, last year's ACC Defensive Rookie of the Year. Punter A.J. Hughes made the squad along with UVa's Anthony Harris, who led the nation in interceptions last season.Anthony Harris, UVA SENIOR STRONG SAFETY, said "Coming in this season, right away, right off the bat, guys have been looking for me as far as work ethic, setting a good example, how I study games. Guys want to know what I'm thinking and stuff like that. So I just know realize the influence that I have, I'm trying to use that to impact my team in the best way."Luther Maddy, VIRGINIA TECH SENIOR DEF. TACKLE, said "I've been kind of the second-tier guy the past three years because we had so many older guys in front of me. But now that I came back my senior year, this is definitely my time to step up and be a leader. I've taken that role, I think I've been doing a pretty good job trying to lead by example."Defending national champion Florida State placed nine on the All-ACC team.
