Three Displaced After House Fire in Roanoke

Roanoke, VA - Officials are investigating a house fire that displaced three people and injured two in Roanoke early Thursday morning.

Roanoke fire crews responded to the fire on Mountain View Terrace at 3:37 a.m. and found smoke and flames coming from the house. They extinguished the fire soon after.

Officials say three people were inside the house when the fire started. One got minor burns and was treated on the scene. A firefighters got a steam burn and was also treated on the scene.

Crews are investigating the fire, but officials say it appears to be accidental.

Damage estimates are approximately $105,000.
