This Season Could Remind Us of Holland and Sampson

More than 30 years ago...Ralph Sampson was a three-time NATIONAL player of the year. He and coach Terry Holland led UVa to the Final Four in 1981 where they lost to North Carolina.
They reached the Elite Eight in 1983. After Sampson's 4 years, the '84 team also went to the Final Four - losing to Houston.
This past Saturday at the ACC Tournament, Holland was honored as an ACC Legend. The now 71-year-old PLAYED for Davidson, became the all-time winningest COACH in UVa history and then became an athletic director at Davidson, UVa and East Carolina.
