Lynchburg, VA - A Lynchburg bakery is back open for business two days after a truck went right through its window.
The wreck was Monday morning at the Sunny Kitchen on Bay Street.
Fortunately, the shop was closed so no one was hurt.
Wednesday, the bakery was back open. The owner says a health and building inspector took a look at the shop Tuesday and allowed the business to stay open.
Now, the owner has a message for his loyal customers.
"We just want them to know that we're back open for business. And even though there was a lot of damage done, it's stabilized and from inside the store you don't really see that there's a lot of damage. We're back open and going strong," said Truman Miller, co-owner.
For the holidays, the Sunny Kitchen will be open next Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.
