Saturday, June 9, The Ellington is hosting Lil' Ronnie and the Grand Dukes. The blues band blends elements of 1950's R&B, soul, vintage rock and roll and jazz. Ronnie has been playing music almost all his life, and you'll definitely enjoy this performance. They go on stage at 8:30 p.m. and tickets are $20 in advance or $25 at the door.
The RiverFlick Film Series is back and kicks off this Saturday at Amazement Square in Lynchburg. Come out for cinema under the starts every second Saturday on June, July, August and September. Shows start at 7 p.m., so bring your blanket and enjoy this free event. This Saturday, they will be showing "The Great Muppet Caper."
Sunday afternoon you can relax as you enjoy the beauty of the Peaks of Otter and listen to some music. The SunnySide Band will bring the sound of mountain music at the Peaks of Otter Amphitheater from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
