This weekend there's an extra reason to come out to the Lynchburg Community Market. You can enjoy some free music by TJ Oriola. That's 10 a.m. to noon. Of course you can visit the vendors for fresh fruits and vegetables or get a bit to eat inside.

All you dog lovers---the new Lynchburg Dog Park is finally here! The grand opening of the city's first dog park is Friday, June 29 at 10:30 a.m.. It's at the Black Water Creek Athletic Area. So come out with your dogs and have a great day celebrating this great event.

On Saturdayyou have the chance to check out a local band and grab a glass of wine. DeVault Vineyards in Concord will have Alma Hesson and Jenny Reynolds & Cherry Hill on stage. They'll be on stage 3 p.m. - 10 p.m. Bring those blankets and enjoy a great outdoor concert with the family. Get a list of all the concerts this summer.{}

Fourth of July is around the corner, and Lynchburg is getting ready for the city's largest fireworks show.

Celebrate America is Sunday, July 1 at Thomas Road Baptist Church. There will be a water slide, rock wall, petting zoo and live music Sounds like a great way to celebrate our independence, and who doesn't love fireworks?
