The Buzz Aug. 11: Concerts & Outdoor Movie Screening

If you love blues music, you should come out to Blue Ridge Vineyard on Saturday, August 11. The Fat Daddy Band will perform as part of a summer concert series. You can bring a picnic or buy food and drinks there. That's 5 to 9 p.m., and tickets are $8 for adults.

Saturday at Phase 2, the LoCash Cowboys will be on stage. The group has a great vibe mixing dance, country and soul into their music. They'll be on at around 8 p.m., and tickets are $15 at the door. Get ticket information here.

If you're looking for a more relaxing evening, you can watch a movie under the stars in Lynchburg. Amazement Square is playing "Charade" for the RiverFlick Film Series. Audrey Hepburn stars in the romance and suspense film set in Paris. In the movie she finds out her husband was killed, and now people are after her looking for a fortune he had stolen. Make sure you bring blankets and chairs. The movie will start around 8:45 p.m.
