Danville, VA - Some teenagers on the Southside spent their weekend developing their skills behind the wheel, but it wasn't your regular driver's education class.
The group was with the non-profit organization, Teen Driving Solutions. They set up their two day class at Virginia International Raceway this weekend, preparing teen drivers for unfortunate situations.
The group focused on topics like defensive driving and how to drive in bad weather. Parents are part of the classes too.
" We need the parents to understand the importance of leading by example, so they take everything that we've taught them here and go home and put it in action to together as a family. Let's both drive safely," said Dan Wagner, Founder and President of Teen Driving Solutions.
