Teenager Arrested After Danville Shooting
Danville, VA - A Danville teenager is behind bars after police say he was involved in a shooting Sunday that sent one person to the hospital.
Officers responded around 5:00 p.m. to the 600 block of Cabell St in reference to a subject being shot.
Police say a male victim, age 21, of Danville, was transported to the Danville Regional Medical Center by a personal vehicle before they arrived on the scene. The victim was later transferred to Duke Medical Center, suffering from a gunshot wound to the side of his body.
Isaiah Terrell Warner, 18, of Danville, was located later the same night and arrested without incident.
Warner has been charged with malicious wounding, use of a firearm in commission of a felony, reckless handling of a firearm and discharge of a firearm within the city limits.
Warner is currently in the Danville City Jail under without bond.
