Teacher Arrested for Allegedly Having Inappropriate Relations With Student

Campbell Co., VA - Kathleen Cawthorne has been released on $9,000 bond.
Officials with the sheriff's office tells us she met the 17-year-old male victim in her study hall class. They say the two had inappropriate contact starting March 7, and it lasted about two weeks.

Campbell Co., VA - Officials have arrested a William Campbell teacher Tuesday for allegedly having inappropriate relations with a student, according to officials.
Kathleen Cawthorne, 32, is facing four charges, including using a computer to solicit a child, exposing her genitals or asking a child to expose his/her genitals using an electronic device, and taking indecent liberties with a child, according to officials from the Campbell County Sheriff's Office.
Officials are still investigating. We'll have more information as it comes in.
