Suspect in New River Valley Community College Shooting Indicted
Christiansburg, VA - A grand jury has indicted the 19-year-old accused of opening fire at New River Community College's mall campus earlier this year.
Neil MacInnis is charged with two malicious wounding counts and two firearms counts.
He will appear in court for a plea hearing on November 13.
Police say MacInnis walked into the college's mall campus on April 12 and started shooting.
Two women were shot - including a part time employee and a student.
Police say MacInnis initially told them he was quote "having a bad week" prior to the shooting.
