Summer Feeding Program Breaks Record, Serves 111,000 Meals
Danville, VA-- It was a record breaking summer for the Salvation Army in Danville.
They prepared around 111,000 meals in just three months. It was all part of a summer-long feeding program.
Pittsylvania County Community Action partnered with them to feed families with kids who take part in free or reduced lunch programs during the school year.
