Saturday's winner matched all of the numbers except the Powerball. The odds of winning that are one in more than 5 million.
"I might travel a little bit but basically pay my bills," says Laura Blackstock, North Carolina resident.
"Probably get me a new car, new home," says Melbin Pannell, North Carolina resident.
"I wish I could have been the one that got it," says Larry Irvin.
A lot of customers at Stop in Food Store now dream of holding that one million dollar Powerball ticket. That's because on Saturday a lucky customer picked the right combinations to make them a millionaire.
"Just excited, if it had been me, I'd be more excited," says Janet Josey, temporary employee at Stop in Food Store.
So far, no one has come forward to claim their prize. But Pannell says it may be him.
"I buy them here all the time so I had to check my tickets when I heard about it," says Pannell.
Pannell looked once when he heard the news but now wants to go back and make sure.
"I really hadn't checked all of them yet. I put them everywhere and I don't look at them all the time so I could have one I don't know," says Pannell.
One definite winner is the store that sold the ticket. They get a $10,000 bonus from the Virginia Lottery and have already received a lot of attention.
"It's picked up a whole lot in the last couple days that I've been here," says Josey.
Josey says she's seen more customers than usual buying Powerball tickets since the news broke, hoping Lady Luck will visit again.
Get out your tickets and check, the winning numbers were 12-26-44-46-47, and the Powerball number was 29. If you are holding that lucky ticket, the first thing you should do is sign the back!
