Roanoke, VA -Roanoke unofficially kicked off the holiday shopping season with the "Stocked Market".
It's the 24th year for the event which is now held in the Roanoke Civic Center Special Events Center.
The holiday themed event is a big hit as hundreds packed the hall throughout the day.
The Stocked Market is also a major fundraiser for the Junior League of the Roanoke Valley.
Last year, it raised more than $180,000 for charity.
"It's really great. It's a great way to get a kick start on all your holiday shopping. You don't have to deal with the crowds like you do at the malls and things like that. Everybody here's so festive and they're so excited and we have something for everyone; one-stop shopping," said Ashley Feuerstein from Stocked Market.-
The event runs Saturday from 9 a.m. - 7 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.
