State Trooper Involved in Accident in Pittsylvania Co.

Pittsylvania Co., VA - State Police say no one was hurt after a four car accident Tuesday morning that involved a State Trooper.

Emergency crews got the call around 7:30 a.m. to Route 41 in the Mount Hermon area.

According to fire officials, it started out as a minor two car accident, when a trooper pulled over behind the accident victims to help.

That's when a fourth car ran into the trooper's vehicle, causing another accident.

No one was hurt and no one was taken to the hospital.

State Police say charges are likely.
