Stamp Out Hunger Food Drives Collects Almost 16,000 Pounds of Food for God's Storehouse

Danville, VA - Almost 16,000 pounds of food was donated to God's Storehouse in Danville on Saturday.Volunteers participated in the nationwide Stamp Out Hunger food drive. As mail carriers delivered mail on Saturday, they picked up non-perishable food donations left at the mailbox by residents.Volunteers from God's Storehouse spent the day collecting donations a Danville post office. They said they really depend on the food drive to help stock up for the summer months, because that's when donations are usually low.
