Giles Co., VA - A special prosecutor says no charges will be filed against any officers involved in a fatal shooting in Giles County last year.
Salem Commonwealth's Attorney Thomas Bowers issued a release about the shooting Monday.
In October, Jonathan Robertson, 32, was shot and killed during a shootout with police.
State Police say Robertson was a robbery suspect who started firing at officers while they were serving warrants.
Bowers says State Police officers and Giles County deputies acted appropriately, believing that they were in danger.
