Lynchburg, VA - Don't be surprised if actors show up unexpectedly to your workplace this week.
A group of professional actors performed at the Bank of the James Tuesday afternoon for Lynchburg's first annual 'Random Acts of Culture' series.
Actors with Endstation Theatre Company will stop by roughly a dozen businesses this week to perform musical numbers and promote segments of their upcoming play 'Taming of the shrew.'
"We like to call it Guerilla Theatre. So, we're making people enjoy culture," said Actor Mike Stablein.
"I think at first, there's always a slight feeling of 'what is this'? But by the end there's just smiles all around," added Actor Walter Kmiece.
The series was put on with the help of the Economic Development Authority, Lynch's Landing, the James River Council for the Arts & Humanities, and the Lynchburg Marketing Partnership.
Their goal is to promote culture within the business community.
