Lynchburg, VA - With winter weather forecasted, it was a mob scene at some grocery stores Monday night; folks flocking to stock up before the storm, and getting those all-important snow staples like bread, milk, and eggs.
At the F&L food market in Lynchburg, there were lines at every register. Employees and customers there said it was incredibly busy. They anticipated selling out of some items.
"A lot of meat, eggs, bread, milk, the usual stuff you get when people say it's going to snow" said Deandra Lewis, a store Employee.
"If you don't get in here today, there will be no milk and bread tomorrow" said one shopper.
Number one storm sellers are bread, milk, eggs, also, toilet paper and water top the list.
