Seven People Arrested in Prostitution Operation in Montgomery Co.
Montgomery Co., VA - Seven people have been arrested after a major prostitution bust in Montgomery County Thursday.
The arrests came as a result of an investigation conducted by the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office, Christiansburg Police Department, Blacksburg Police Department, and the FBI Roanoke and Richmond Offices.
Cyber investigators say they had been talking to several people online.
Many said they were from the New River Valley, and investigators say they offered adult services for money.
The following people were charged with prostitution.
Misty D. Blankenship, 35, of Pulaski
Tiffany N. Lafferty, 29, of Roanoke
Stapheno O. Greene, 38, Lynchburg
Tammy L. Janney, 30, of Roanoke
Rukhsana B. Faizi, 25, of Roanoke
Curtis Blankenship, 44, of Pulaski and Kevin Yopp, 30, of Roanoke are both charged with aiding prostitution.
