Search Continues for Man in Henry Co. Missing Since 2008
Henry Co., VA - Dogs and volunteers searched Henry County this week, six years after a man went missing.Lieutenant Curtis Spence with the Henry County Sheriff's Office says Keith Fetter went into the woods after an argument in May of 2008. Fetter hasn't been seen since. For a week after Fetter went missing, Spence says they searched and didn't find anything. Last March, the Sheriff's office and Virginia State Police picked the search back up. On Tuesday, volunteers from Virginia and North Carolina with Blue and Gray Search Dogs Incorporated took dogs to search. While Spence does not believe Fetter is alive, he says the search is still worth it. "If it was my family member, I would want to know what happened. You think the family has been denied a burial? And they've been denied a place to grieve. I think they deserve that," said Lt. Curtis Spence with the Henry County Sheriff's Office. The dogs and volunteers plan to search again in the fall.
