SCOTUS Rules Against Liberty University Challenge to Affordable Care Act

Lynchburg, VA - The Supreme Court has turned away Liberty University's attempt to overturn a key part of the Affordable Care Act.

Attorneys for the school argued to challenge the part of the law that requires most employers to provide health insurance to their employees or pay a fine.

But Monday morning the justices decided to leave a federal appeals court ruling that dismissed LU's lawsuit in place. They did not comment on the decision.
