Salem Police Investigating Attempted Robbery

Salem, VA - Salem Police need your help to find two suspects in an attempted robbery that happened early Monday morning.

At around 5:15 a.m., police responded to a home on McCauley Drive for a burglary in progress.

They located two suspects outside the house, and two more suspects inside the house fled the scene.

Police found a gun in the home they say did not belong to the resident.

No one was hurt and no property was taken during the incident.

Police have charged Steven Perez of Floyd County with possession of a firearm, and conspiracy to commit burglary, amongst other charges.

Police have also charged a 16-year-old girl in the crime.

Officials are asking you to be on the lookout for DeAnthony Jackson and Percy Johnson the fourth.
