Lynchburg, VA - Getting in shape for the new year is at the top of the resolution list for a lot of folks. If you're one of them, the Boys and Girls Club of Greater Lynchburg may have the race for you.
The Resolution Run is February 2. A 2-mile run or walk that's just right for beginners, or really anyone. But they also need folks to help sponsor kids who want to make a healthy resolution; there are 80 children who need that help right now. It just costs $10 to sponsor a child's resolution.
"It enables them to come down, make a resolution of what they want to do - make better grades, make healthier lifestyle choices. And then they get to run, and then it's complete, and we will hold them to that resolution here at the club," said Tarah Jordan, the program director.
