Rocky Mount Nursing Aide's License Suspended

Rocky Mount, VA - A nursing aide in Rocky Mount is in trouble after state officials say she was responsible for two incidents involving runaway wheelchairs.

According to an order from the Virginia Board of Nursing, the incidents happened at Trinity Mission in Rocky Mount.

The order says Shanice Terry left two residents who use wheelchairs unattended on a porch and both of them rolled away. One of the patient had some scrapes, the other was not hurt.

Terry's license has been suspended indefinitely.
