Robert Hurt Stops By Danville For Endorsement Rally

Danville, VA-- Robert Hurt made a stop in Danville today for an endorsement rally at the Danville Republican Headquarters.

It was chance for local elected officials to show their support for Hurt, and also to encourage the crowd to help get more votes. Hurt says he's never seen so much enthusiasm for an election before. He's noticing a lot more commitment from voters on both sides of the political spectrum.

"I run into dozens and dozens of people who say you know I've never been involved before but I'm going to get involved this time," Hurt said. "You know that fellow that I talked to earlier today he said you know I'm going to take off work on Tuesday and work the polls."

Hurt was also in Lynchburg today with Senator John McCain.
