Roanoke's Storm Clean-Up to Take Two Weeks

Roanoke, VA - Roanoke City crews say it will take them two weeks to clean up from last week's bad windstorm.

The city's solid waste director says some of the services have changed because of the damage.

The city plans on skipping bulk trash collection for the next two weeks to allow workers to focus on the brush removal.

Other trash pick-up schedules are not affected.

Roanoke County still had more than 300 people without power from that storm as of Monday afternoon.
