Roanoke's Luke Hancock Leads Late Louisville Charge

Orlando - Former Hidden Valley High School star Luke Hancock took charge late and led heavily-favored Louisville to a comeback win over Manhattan last night 71-64 in the NCAA Tournament.

With the game tied in the final minutes, Hancock stole an inbounds pass, got fouled and sank both free throws. He then hit two straight 3-pointers in the final 1:19 of the game to help seal the victory. Hancock finished with 16 points and saved the Cardinals, who were in big danger of being knocked off, trailing by three with less than four minutes to play.

Louisville advances to face Saint Louis Saturday in the Midwest Region.
