Roanoke, VA - The Annual Henry Street Heritage Festival and Music Fest will be moved indoors to the Roanoke Civic Center's Special Events Center Saturday.
The popular festival, now in its 24th year, will start at 10:30 a.m. and end at 10 p.m. Saturday.
The Henry Street Heritage Festival is cultural stable of the Roanoke Valley that celebrates the history, culture, and arts within the African American community.
The festival is also the premier event of the Harrison Museum of African American culture and features a variety of contests, music, and food as well.
The music fest will feature national recording artists from the R&B and classic soul genre.
Vendors will also be on hand, along with contests and activities for kids, and health screenings.
The event was scheduled to be outside, but will now be held inside because of a rainy forecast.
