Roanoke School Officials to Meet Over Tuberculosis Case

Roanoke, VA - Roanoke school officials have another meeting planned for next Monday to discuss a tuberculosis case.

A student at William Fleming High School has been diagnosed with active TB.

According to Superintendent Rita Bishop, that student is not currently in school.

She says the health department is working to identify people who have the greatest risk of exposure, and those people will be tested.
