Roanoke, VA- Roanoke fire officials are investigating an arson that happened Saturday afternoon.
At around 2:30 crews responded to the CMC warehouse in the 2500 block of Johnson Ave. They found heavy flames and smoke and it took them a while to get the fire under control. Damages have been estimated at $100,000.
Officers also responded to the scene and apprehended a juvenile male trying to flee the area. Officers took two other juvenile males into custody as well.
One boy has been charged with arson, and was taken to Coyner Springs Juvenile Detention Center. Charges against the other two boys are pending.
