Roanoke One Stop Market Employee Assaulted During Robbery

Roanoke, VA- Roanoke Police are investigating a robbery that left an employee of the One Stop Market on the 800 block of Bridge Street injured Friday Afternoon.

Officers responded at 2:18 p.m. to the store. Once they arrived, a male employee told police officers that two suspects, one brandishing a firearm, entered the store and demanded money.

The employee was physically assaulted, but was not shot.

The two suspects got away with an undisclosed amount of money and fled.

The victim was treated at the scene by Roanoke Fire/EMS.

No arrests have been made.

The suspects are described as two black males. One of the suspects was wearing dark clothing; the other suspect was wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt.
