Roanoke, VA - The main library branch in Roanoke will be closed for renovations later this month.
City officials say starting on Monday, October 28th, crews will start working on the first floor and mezzanine. The work includes new library services, including self-checkout areas and a children's area. Those who frequent the main location are encouraged to stop by the city's other libraries, as well as using the two e-branches.
Roanoke's main library is more than 60 years old.
