Roanoke County Officials Investigating Trailer Fire

Roanoke Co., VA- Roanoke Fire officials are investigating a trailer fire that happened Saturday night at Vinyard Park.

Crews responded around 6:15 p.m. for a reported structure fire. When they arrived on scene they found a single-wide trailer fully involved in flames. Crews from the Vinton and Mount Pleasant stations fought the fire from outside the structure. Officials say it was difficult to access the trailer because it was located on a narrow, gravel road. Firefighters used brush trucks to reach it.

Officials say no one lived in the trailer. We're told it was older and did not have electricity. The trailer was completely destroyed by the fire.

If anyone thinks they may know something that could help investigators please call the Roanoke County Fire Marshal's Office at (540) 777-8732.
