Ringgold Baptist Church Spends Thanksgiving Feeding the Homeless

Pittsylvania Co., VA-- Ringgold Baptist Church helped feed some of those in the community with their 7th annual Community Thanksgiving dinner.

They go out to local areas,even as far South Boston, to pick up the homeless and less fortunate so they can enjoy a nice Thanksgiving meal.

They fed more than 200 people on Thursday.

The church also offer a clothes closet, to help those in need stay warm during the winter months.

"It's a good thing to have," said Matt Foster, the event organizer. "This might be the best meal they've had and you get to interact with the people, and I think it makes them feel warm and welcomed."

People were also able to take some food home, and also a gift bag full of hygiene products.
