Lynchburg, VA - Congressman Bob Goodlatte has been in the national spotlight a lot lately. The 6th District republican has been spear heading federal investigations dealing with the Benghazi attacks, and the IRS scandal.
Most recently, Goodlatte has called for further investigation into Attorney General Eric Holder's involvement in a Justice Department probe into national media reporters.
Goodlatte says his role as chairman of the house judiciary committee has thrust him into the national spotlight.
"I'm hearing about these matters from constituents of all different backgrounds, very concerned about the lack of accountability in the administration in a number of different areas" he said.
The congressman has called for the Attorney General's resignation since the last congress; he says his opinion on Holder has not changed.
