By Dave Walls
Lynchburg, VA - Election day is nearly upon us in Lynchburg. Those who cast their ballots at the Lynchburg Public Library on Memorial Avenue will find a construction zone near the entrance to the voting area. Lynchburg Registrar Carolyn Sherayko says voters should prepare for minor changes in parking and entering the building. "It's going to be different, in terms of their access to the precinct on this election day." Sherayko says. "They're hoping to be finished with the construction by November, so we hope this is just a one time thing." Voters can access the voting booths through the library, during normal business hours. Polls will be open from 6am to 7pm.The Lynchburg Registrar's Office has information on ID regulations and polling place locations.
