Danville, VA - Dozens of people came out to a Red Cross Blood Drive at the Danville Stadium Cinemas Thursday.
The drive was in the parking lot from 11 a.m. - 4 p.m.
Those who gave got a free movie ticket and a T-shirt. Ashley Riddle was there and has donated twice now.
"It's not that bad, you can look out the window, like I did when they shoved it down my arm," she said laughing. "It's not that bad just look at the bright side that you're saving someone's life not the fact that you're getting stuck by a needle."
The Red Cross will also be sponsoring a blood drive at the Chatham Community Center Friday from 1 p.m. - 6 p.m.
