Rare Native American Artifact Exhibit Coming to Nelson Co.

Nelson Co., VA - Over 20 collectors from four states will display Native American Artifacts at Saunders Farm Market August 17.

The display will be open to the public from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. in a large tent at the market.

Organizers expect to have around 40 tables of artifacts including arrow points, spears, axes, fish hooks, pendants, and many other items used by these prehistoric people who lived in the area.

The public is invited to see the rare exhibition, many of which are personal finds of the collectors.

Although most of the artifacts are from Virginia, there will be artifacts from several states.
