Lynchburg, VA - Randolph College inaugurated its tenth president Saturday. Bradley Bateman has been the school's acting president since last July, but Saturday it became official. There was a large processional Saturday afternoon leading up to the ceremony. Several guests spoke at the inauguration and folks gathered for a reception after the event. President Bateman says he is honored to serve the school."I'm excited, I feel very lucky to be here, I'm very lucky to be leading this college and very lucky that so many people came to celebrate with me today," said President Bateman. There is also a cocktail dinner and Inaugural concert Saturday night to celebrate the new president.
