Radford, VA - An attempted abduction to report in Radford City. Area police say they were called to the 700 block of 12th street on the west end of Radford for a reported attempted abduction near the elementary school. The attempt was reported by a parent who says it happened around 6 p.m. Saturday. Official say three kids, between the ages of 7 and 8 years old, say a vehicle with two men inside approached them and offered them money to get into the vehicle. The vehicle is believed to be an older model red and black Mitsubishi Eclipse or Camaro with a spoiler on the back. The bottom of the vehicle is believed to be red with a black hood and black on the sides below the doors. It may also be convertible. Some damage is believed to be on one side of the vehicle.
