Problems in Campbell Co. After Crew Cut Fiber Line

Campbell Co., VA - Campbell County authorities said that 911 was restored.
Update 4:25 p.m.:
Campbell Co., VA - Campbell County has had a lot of phone problems Thursday afternoon after a fiber line was cut.
CenturyLink says a construction crew working in the Altavista area cut the line.
The sheriff's office says people have been having problems reaching 911.
The outage also affects telephone, DSL and long distance customers in Altavista.
CenturyLink says its crews are working to fix the line, but there is no estimate on when it will be restored.
Campbell Co., VA - People living in Campbell County may have trouble getting through to 911 Thursday afternoon.
The sheriff's office confirms there is a problem with the 911 system. Major L.T. Guthrie says it's uncertain what areas of the county are affected.
Campbell County Public Works is expected to release more information shortly.
