Forest, VA - The Bedford County Sheriff's Office says they responded to a burglary Monday night and found a meth lab instead.
When deputies got to the 1000 block of Elk Lane in Forest Monday night they found a basement window broken out and two people inside.
While trying to verify their story of having permission to be there, deputies say they saw evidence of possible narcotics activity inside the home.
After getting a search warrant deputies say they found evidence of a working meth lab.
Shane Thomas Lenneman, 25, of Lynchburg and Megan Elizabeth Gunter, 31, also of Lynchburg were arrested and charged with conspiracy to manufacture methamphetamines.
Both are being held in the Bedford Adult Detention Center.
