Police Investigate Embezzlement Scheme at Lynchburg Sears

Lynchburg, VA - Lynchburg Police are looking for a woman in connection with an embezzlement scheme at Sears.

Police say two women who worked at Sears took almost $400 worth of merchandise at the store on January 18. They say they sold the merchandise to a woman (pictured) and only charged her six dollars for it, and then one of the cashiers then escorted the woman out of the store.

The two Sears employees have been charged with embezzlement.

The woman in the surveillance picture is wanted on a grand larceny charge.
