Police: Halifax Co. Van Accident That Injured Six Was Alcohol Related

Halifax Co., VA - State police are now saying alcohol was a factor in a Monday morning crash that injured four children and two adults in Halifax County.

Police say driver Keith Hunt of Clover was heading east on 360 just after 2 a.m. when he ran off the road and hit a guide wire. The van overturned several times.
A 7-year-old boy was airlifted to Duke.
The driver, a second adult, and three children were transported to Halifax Regional with serious injuries.
The crash is under investigation and charges are pending against the driver.
