Police Arrest Woman Involved in Stabbing in Lynchburg, Other Woman in Hospital
Lynchburg, VA - A Lynchburg woman is at the hospital after police say she was stabbed early Sunday morning.
Officers from the Lynchburg Police Department were called to an apartment on Old Mill Road around 3 a.m.
There, they say Princess Pakreem Hairston, 21, said she was stabbed during a domestic dispute. She was complaining of a stab wound in her chest area.
Police say Tesha Shantay Clark, 22, was arrested and charged with one count of aggravated malicious wounding.
Theresa Price lives right across from Clark. She says Clark knocked on her door so she could borrow the phone to call the police.
"I asked her what was wrong and she said that her girlfriend laid her hands on her and locked her out of her house with her kids in the house. And then she said that she stabbed her," said Price.
Hairston is being treated at the Lynchburg General Hospital and is in critical but stable condition.
