Police Arrest Two Men for Breaking Into Martinsville Home & Robbing Items

Martinsville, VA - Officials with the Martinsville Police Department arrested two men they say robbed a home in Martinsville Wednesday night.

Matthew James Griggs, 27, and Michael Wayne Bowers, 27, were charged with breaking and entering and grand larceny.

Police say they found a vehicle parked behind a home on S. Askin Street that was filled with $750 worth of merchandise. Officials say there were broken doors at the home that appeared to have been forced open. They then found Griggs and Bowers hiding in an attic loft.
